Creative Classroom - COMPAS

Works with schools to bring professional artists into classrooms to enhance student skills and self-esteem through hands-on experiences in the arts. Program options: Residencies: artists work with teachers and students to guide them through the creative process and connects with themes and learning areas already familiar to students Performances: for under 300 audience members. Artists share their culture through music, dance, and presentation; many programs also provide relevant study guides Workshops: for under 30 participants. Enable students to work closely with a professional artist to discover their own artistic potential and to connect art to other learning areas
