Minneapolis Rent Assistance Program - Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center

Eligibility

Individuals and families who:- Are residents of Minneapolis- Have income at or below 30% of the area median income- Have received a pre-filing eviction notice from their property manager or a 30-day notice to vacate

Required documents

Application/intake form current lease (signed copy) ledger from property manager showing the amount owed as of the current date notice to vacate premises or court summons related to eviction case picture ID proof of income from the last 60 days (pay stubs, benefit letters, etc.)

In partnership with Hennepin County, the Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center provides a rent assistance program connected to Operation Metro Surge. Funding is available to renters facing an eviction for any reason, including those affected by immigration enforcement.
