Offers services to children and youth who are experiencing homelessness to ensure they receive appropriate public education and stability. Homeless liaisons and/or social workers are responsible for ensuring the educational stability and protecting the rights of students experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Each school district and charter school is required to have a designated District Homeless Liaison. The specific services available to students may vary by public school district and charter school.
