Minnesota Supplemental Aid - MSA - Western Prairie Human Services

Provides a monthly cash grant to people who are 65 years of age or older, or are aged, blind, or disabled, and who receive federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Applicants whose income is too high to receive SSI may be eligible for MSA. Call for information. NOTE: Most participants also receive or are eligible to receive SSI and/or Retirement, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (RSDI) . Applications are handled through local Social Security offices, not local counties. Participants may be eligible for Medicare Savings Programs.
