Environmental Services - Lincoln County Environmental Office

Responsible for the following services: - Administers the low-interest loan programs available for residents to upgrade their septic systems - Creation of zoning ordinances, and the development of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan - Education, organization, and implementation of the County Wide Recycling Program and Pickup - Enforcement of Noxious Weed Law for the state and Lincoln County - Implementation of the Individual Septic Treatment System Program and the enforcement of the Solid Waste Plan and Ordinance - Operation of the County Landfill Transfer Station - Operation, maintenance, and repair of the Public Drainage Systems - Placement and management of Bio-Control Area for noxious weeds (i.e. leafy spurge, musk thistle) - Regulation of certified seed dealers and periodic inspections and sampling
