Grandparent Group - PACER Center

Enables grandparents of children with disabilities to better understand disabilities and their own feelings, and to support their child and grandchild through the following services: - Grandparent to Grandparent Project: Support and information to grandparents of children with special needs including an ongoing support group - Responds to grandparents' and organizations' inquiries about grandparent programs and resources - Provides technical assistance to individuals and organizations to start support programs for persons whose grandchildren have special needs - Develops networking among grandparents so they can share joys, concerns and common interests - Identifies and provides resource materials that respond to concerns and needs of persons whose grandchildren have special needs
