Guardianship Program - ElderCircle
- Nonprofit program designed to provide guardianship to adult individuals found to be incapacitated to make their own decisions in areas such as health care and place of abode - Most individual clients are elderly and have some form of mental illness or dementia - We can take a certain number of adults under 55 who typically have developmental disabilities and/or mental illness - While this service is set up to assist low-income adults, we welcome private guardianship's. Referrals and petitions can be made by family and friends - We DO NOT provide conservatorship

Eligibility
- Primarily serves Itasca County
- Referrals received from Itasca County Health and Human Services - Adult Protection, Itasca County Court or Private
- Clients are 18 and older, with the majority needing to be over the age of 55
- Clients must be found by the courts to be incapacitated
