Provides a historic village that offers visitors a glimpse into 19th-century frontier life along the Minnesota River. Buildings are arranged to reflect a timeline from the pre-territorial era through the late 1800s, allowing visitors to discover how early Minnesotans established their lives on the frontier. Also provides various amenities and activities, including:
  • Biking: A 0.7-mile trail to explore the historic village by bike
  • Dog Trails: A one-mile River Trail and a paved trail through the historic village for leashed dogs
  • Picnic Areas: General picnic areas for families to relax and snack, with shelters available for rent for events
  • Trails: A one-mile turf trail along the Minnesota River, suitable for hiking, bird watching, and snowshoeing
