Household Hazardous Waste accepts hazardous products such as: - Automotive fluids and filters - Cleaners and degreasers - Fluorescent light bulbs - Medical sharps (must be in a sharps container, call for information on where to find one) - Paint and paint products - Products labeled: caution, warning, danger, poison, flammable, corrosive - Rechargeable batteries - Weed killer and pesticides For businesses: - Businesses that produce 220 lbs of hazardous waste a month or less are eligible to participate, questions can be sent to [email protected] or call (218)726-1602 - Fee of $25 for these businesses applies plus fees for waste disposal as listed - Services are arranged by appointment, some paperwork required for this program
