Personal Emergency Response System - CentraCare - Medical Alert Service - Central Minnesota

Services can be provided as home-based help buttons, fall detection buttons, and mobile "on-the-go" units. When someone needs help, pressing the wearable button connects them with the 24-hour Emergency Response Center. The Response Center operator talks with the individual over the speaker to decide upon proper action and coordinates the appropriate responder - emergency services, caregiver, family member, neighbor, etc. Even if they cannot speak or can't be heard, the Emergency Response Center knows who they are and who to contact. The US-based Emergency Response Centers provide multi-lingual communication with over 140 languages available answering help calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Application process

Call, email, or walk in to sign up, to begin service, an intake form is completed where details are gathered to set a system up specific to the user. An intake form is typically completed over the phone and takes approximately 20 minutes.

Fee

Service is provided on a month-to-month basis with no long term contract monthly service fees vary depending on which system is chosen and start at about $1 per day. Call for current pricing With all new service a one-time registration fee applies
