Health Promotion - Nobles County Community Services

Promotes a Community Wellness Partnership throughout the county in partnership with Cottonwood and Jackson County. Initiatives and services include:

- Community Health Workers who work with individuals and families to help them navigate health care and social services systems

- Diabetes and hypertension prevention with healthcare systems and local organizations to raise awareness

- Healthy eating and physical activity in schools and communities

- Wellness within the workplace to promote creation of healthier worksites through policy, systems, and the environment. Areas of focus include nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation/exposure, and breastfeeding support.
