Health Program and Prevention Program - Vietnamese Social Services of Minnesota

The purpose of the health program is to help refugees and immigrants overcome language, cultural and economic barriers to healthy lifestyles. Program includes: - Health information published in Vietnamese and Karen - Health classes on diseases and prevention - Health insurance application assistance - Karen Mental Health Project (assessment, support groups, referral to mental health providers) The Cancer Program: Breast and cervical cancer education and screening in 7 county metro area and Stearns County; cancer survivor support groups
