NOTE: Most traffic, boating, skateboarding, fishing and rollerblading citations involving a minor are handled through the Juvenile Court. Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) citations for children under 16 years of age are handled in Juvenile Court and for ages over 16 are handled in Criminal Court. - CHIPS - Children in need of protection or services. CHIPS petitions include education neglect, truancy, runaway (absenting) and abuse or neglect.
