Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) - Second Harvest Heartland

Eligibility
Seniors ages 60 and older living in Minnesota. Seniors must have incomes 130% or below of poverty level.
Required documents
Eligible clients are required to provide recently postmarked mail with name and address, knowledge of current gross monthly household income, and picture ID.

9 am - 1 pm Monday and Friday 9 am - 4 pm Tuesday - Thursday

  • Provides nutritional education and information on food preparation, food storage/safety, and wellness
  • Seniors participating in CSFP are given a box of highly nutritious food each month. Packages may include canned fruits, vegetables and juices; dry and UHT milk; American cheese; canned meat; peanut butter or dried beans; cereal; rice or pasta.
  • Seniors participating in CSFP in the in Metro Areas, as well as other areas of Minnesota are eligible for Farmer's Market Coupons in July.
