Minnesota Supplemental Aid - MSA - Douglas County Health and Human Services

Provides a monthly cash grant to older adults, individuals living with a disability or loss of vision, and who receive federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Some persons whose income is too high to receive SSI may be eligible for MSA. NOTE: Most of these individuals also receive or are eligible to receive SSI, and/or RSDI. Applications for SSI/RSDI are handled through the local Social Security office, not Douglas County. Individuals may be eligible for the Medicare Savings Programs.

Residents of Douglas County who are eligible for SSI and are: - Aged 65 years and older - Blind or have severely impaired vision - Living with a disability and are between the ages of 18 - 65
