The crime victim support program is operated by staff and volunteers who have been trained to help victims/survivors to cope with the wide range of needs and responses to sexual abuse and sexual assault. Provides advocacy by trained staff and volunteers who offer assistance to survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault. Advocates can assist survivors at the hospital or law enforcement center. Advocates can be available to accompany the survivor and family through the criminal justice system process. Advocates can provide information and referral, support, and advocacy in the court system and information regarding crime victim compensation.
