Description

Offered by the Scott County Law Library, Minnesota Justice Foundation (law students from Hamline, St. Thomas, University of Minnesota, and William Mitchell), and local volunteer attorneys. Law students, under the supervision of practicing attorneys, assist participants in using the Minnesota Self-Help Center I-Can program to fill out divorce paperwork. The I-Can program is an online form tool that asks the user questions and creates the forms needed to start a divorce. Participants have the opportunity to submit their paperwork to the Self-Help Center for review before filing.
