Description

Provides several programs for homeowners who may need help with their current home situation. Services provided: - Foreclosure Support: Households who are behind on their mortgage payments can work with a Foreclosure Counselor to assess their financial situation, provide realistic solutions, help them negotiate a workable plan with their lender, and find community resources to help with other needs. - Home Improvement Loans: Funding options are available through grant and loan programs such as the Small Cities Development Program, Federal Home Loan Bank, and the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. - Refinance Counseling: Advisors are available to homeowners to review their current mortgage information and outline costs versus benefits of their decision to refinance. Advisors will create a household budget, compare different loan products, and review loan documents.
