- Crime prevention including Neighborhood Watch, a law enforcement program that enlists the participation of citizens in crime prevention. Neighborhood Watch involves residents watching out for one another. Program requires that a block captain keep a list of residents in the neighborhood who are willing to participate in the program and receive information on calls for service, crime prevention ideas, and how to report suspicious activity if it occurs. - Crime prevention including talks given to the general public that include personal safety, home security, fraud prevention, and drug awareness - Community Service Officers (CSOs)/Citizen's Academy: Non-sworn uniformed employees whose assigned duties and responsibilities by their nature do not require the services of a police officer. -Police Explorers/Teen Police Academy: Provides children and young adults the chance to gain exposure to various careers in law enforcement
