D.A.R.E. - Drug Abuse Resistance Education: Uniformed law enforcement officers teach D.A.R.E. one hour a week for 17 weeks. Lessons focus on providing accurate information about alcohol and drugs, teaching students decision-making skills, showing students how to resist peer pressure and encouraging students to develop healthy interests and resist drug abuse.
