Application process

Call for intake. Ask the intake specialist about Deferred Action renewal.

Required documents

Proof of household income; all documents pertaining to the legal issues including any paperwork received concerning the case; and the names, phone numbers and addresses of all persons involved. Preparing and bringing a written summary of the legal situation is also helpful.

Eligibility

Persons living anywhere in Minnesota whose DACA expires as far out as 6 months from the present are eligible for an appointment.

Provides free legal representation in immigration related legal matters for low-income immigrants and refugees throughout the state of Minnesota.

Services may include deportation defense, family based petitions, applications for lawful permanent residency, visa processing, waivers, TPS, DACA, asylum, U Visa, T Visa, VAWA and SIJS cases, citizenship and naturalization. In addition, ILCM provides education and advocacy regarding immigration law.
