Description

Provides police services including: - Community Outreach - Dog licensing - Neighborhood Watch Program: Cooperative effort between the Rosemount Police Department and individual neighborhoods within the City. The program functions by neighbors keeping watch over each other's homes and property, and allows neighbors to more easily recognize unusual persons and circumstances in the neighborhood. If suspicious activity arises, neighbors report it to the police immediately so it can be checked. - Police records Prescription Drug Drop Off - Individuals can safely and anonymously dispose of prescription drugs - How to Drop off Medicine: Keep medicines in their original container and place them in a sealed, clear plastic bag (pills can remain in their blister packs). Use a marker to cross off the patient's name on the medicine containers. Place medicine that is no longer in its original container in a clear plastic bag and write the name of the medicine on the bag. - Medicines Accepted from Households: Prescription, over-the-counter and pet medications. No medicines from businesses, including health care facilities, long-term care facilities, pharmacies, doctors' offices, and veterinary clinics can be accepted.
