Nutritious meals are provided via: - Diner's Clubs: Local restaurants offer meals throughout the day or over the lunch hour - LSS Bistro: Community dining locations offer meals. Special diets such as diabetic, controlled sodium and low fat/low cholesterol can be accommodated through meals. Upon request, hot or frozen carryout meals are provided. - LSS Meals on Wheels: Volunteers deliver hot meals Monday - Friday and a safety check to older adults unable to leave their homes. Frozen meals available for weekends, holidays and other closure days. - LSS Meals to Go: Provides shipped frozen meals. Each shipment includes 14 frozen meals. In addition to a nutritious meal, Senior Nutrition provides seniors: - Activities and friendly interaction - Connections with area professionals - Information about other community senior services
