Assists the community by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from natural and man-made disasters. Services include coordination with agencies to deliver critical support, such as emergency response and hazard mitigation, ensuring recovery and resilience, planning, public education, and training. Provides:
  • Community planning for disaster response
  • Home safety and emergency plans
  • Volunteer recruitment and training for Medical Reserve Corps to be used if there is a health emergency
