Fees
- Breastfeeding classes are $25 per couple or covered by insurance for PrimeWest, Blue Plus, or Medical Assistance members.
- Child and Teen Checkups are provided at no cost for those insured by PrimeWest, Blue Plus, Medical Assistance, or another publicly funded health plan.

Partners with families to promote healthy lifestyles and nurturing environments. Child and Family Health Services support families with the following services:
- Breastfeeding Classes and Resources: Breastfeeding support services are available in the home, at the Horizon Public Health Office Alexandria main site, and via telephone.
- Child Passenger Safety: Specialists can answer questions regarding child safety seats and check your car seats
- Family Home Visiting: Registered nurses provide a variety of home visiting programs, including prenatal, postpartum, and ongoing parenting support services.
- Follow Along Program: For parents of children ages birth - 5 at no cost to learn if the child is talking, moving, playing, and developing on track for his/her age.
