  • Historic Chippewa City Visiting Hours: 10 am - 4 pm Tuesday - Friday
  • Swensson Farm Museum: 1 pm - 5 pm Saturday, starting Memorial weekend until Labor Day weekend
  • Lac qui Parle Mission: 8 am - 8 pm Sunday, end of April until Labor Day weekend

A historical museum with 24 buildings replicating a late 1800's village, complete with a town square, boardwalk, and a centrally located bandstand/gazebo. Services provided:
  • Collection and cataloging of historic artifacts
  • Genealogy information
  • Guided tours throughout the museum, which include the village, log cabins, millinery shop, blacksmith shop, and more
  • Interpretive library
  • Telephone book collections
  • Venue available for booking for private events, weddings, and business meetings
