Internship assignment training: - Interns work 20 hours/week and earn minimum wage - Interns learn work-based skills,increase confidence, gain recent work experience. - Examples:Office and clerical support,kitchen assistant, custodial, janitorial, maintenance, information clerk, activity assistant, animal care provider, advocate, carpenter assistant Classroom training: - Examples: basic computer training, health services certificate training, direct care professional, CNA, workshops, seminars, individual construction, or training through other employment and training programs or community colleges. ?Job Search Skills training: - Participants have access to employment assistance through the America's Job Center One Stop - Examples:Applications, resumes, cover letters, interviewing, networking, on-line job search, job search for offenders, creative job search,job club, communicating effectively at work, self-knowledge in work settings, making a good impression, problem solving, and critical thinking in today's work world.
