Minnesota Family Investment Program - MFIP - Duluth Workforce Development
Program for persons receiving MFIP or DWP (public assistance) to help them reach their employment goals. Each participant works with a case manager to develop a written plan and time table for their goals in getting a job. Activities to assist include: - Counseling - GED/High School diploma - Information on education and training programs - Job seeking and placement assistance - Personal and career planning - Placement into appropriate education and training programs - Supportive services - Vocational evaluation
