Minnesota Family Investment Program - MFIP - Duluth Workforce Development
Program for persons receiving MFIP or DWP (public assistance) to help them reach their employment goals. Each participant works with a case manager to develop a written plan and time table for their goals in getting a job. Activities to assist include: - Personal and career planning - Vocational evaluation - Job seeking and placement assistance - GED/High School diploma - Counseling - Information on education and training programs - Placement into appropriate education and training programs - Supportive services
