Information and referral on life's issues and legal needs Library for members: - Topic's of Men's issues: Relationships, health, psychological and sexuality - Book loan and reference/information Family Law Clinics targeted to the needs of men and women regarding: - Divorce or dealing with other family law issues - Clinic held 7 pm - 9 pm 1st Wednesday of each month Issue presentations offered each Wednesday on: - Parenting - Anger - Health and addiction - Job satisfaction - Sexuality: relationships, sexual orientation and masculinity - Spirituality Men Talk newsletter and on-line Resource Directory on Website 12 session anger management class: "Men Helping Men With Anger" - For men who desire to improve their relationships at home and at work - All anger management classes are currently virtual through Zoom - Alumni groups for men who have completed the class

Application process

- No intake needed for drop-in support groups. Call for a workshop and class schedule. - Telephone is answered 24 hours by voice mail and an attempt is made to return calls within one or two days. - All anger management classes are currently virtual through Zoom - Legal Clinic: Walk in; Clinics may be canceled at any time due to attorney unavailability

Fee

- Donation for support group: $3 - $7 - Presentations: $5 for nonmembers - Anger management class: $250 for 12 weeks - Legal Clinic: $5.00 for general public; Men's Center members receive a courtesy discount

Required documents

Legal Clinic: All documents pertaining to the legal issues including any paperwork received concerning the case; and the names, phone numbers and addresses of all persons involved. Preparing and bringing a written summary of the legal situation will also make the most of the time available with the attorney.

Eligibility

Men and women interested in men's issues of all kinds such as: relationship building and personal growth. Primarily serves residents of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Washington counties.
