  • Open Weekday Evenings After 5 pm
Provides education, screening, credentials, and liability insurance coverage for volunteer handlers and their pets who wish to make therapy animal visits at facilities in their community. Services include:
  • Information and support to facilities wishing to implement therapy animal visitation
  • Offers support for practitioners using animal-assisted interventions as part of their practice
  • Provides information and support to facilities wishing to implement therapy animal visitation
  • Supports research into the effects and efficacy of animal-assisted interventions
  • Trains and credentials therapy animal teams to make animal-assisted crisis response visits in their community after crisis or disaster
