Grocery store or grocery shopping assistance service provides food to the individual's home. The service is available to people who are unable to go to the store, or for those who prefer to have groceries delivered. Provides access to nutritious food, personal contact, and a helpful hand in the kitchen: - Delivery of groceries and assistance with putting items away - Orders can be placed online or over the phone - Product catalog includes food items and household essentials

- Office: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday - Clients must be able to accept their orders at home on delivery day between 10 am - 3 pm

Application process

- Call; email; visit website - Registration for service is handled over the phone or through a home visit. Potential clients will be asked to verify age, place of residence, income or income range (to establish sliding fee) and eligibility for certain programs (SNAP, Medical Assistance, Medicaid, etc.). Clients are also asked to provide names and contact information of two emergency contacts. - Individuals must register by calling; enrollment generally happens within three business days and the first delivery will be within one week of enrollment. Individuals choose to order online or with a volunteer over the phone. Deliveries happen on the same day each week. Individuals pay upon delivery.

Fee

Clients pay the cost of groceries and other items, but may use Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits if eligible. Service fees are sliding fee based on income. Third-party payer options are available. Please call for specific information as it applies to each situation.

Clients must be age 60 or older and living within Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Henenpin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties
