Eligibility
Must have exhausted use of Ramsey County Emergency Assistance and be willing to apply with other agencies
  • Individuals need to prove sustainability moving forward to receive rent assistance
  • Residents of Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, and Shoreview

Program Fees

  • No Fee
Works with local residents to create stability and work towards sustainability. Each participant develops goals and the means of working to them. Staff and volunteer advocates:
  • Assist in goal-setting
  • Offer continuing support
  • Prevent evictions through rent assistance only; not mortgages
  • Prevent shut-offs or other crises; undesignated funding is available on a case-by-case basis for long-term participants (rarely)
  • Provide connections and resource referrals
  • Take time to listen
Note: Does not provide shelter or temporary housing. Individuals must be willing to work long-term.
