Persons in need of intensive inpatient psychiatric services who are able to safely live in the community while receiving treatment. Serves Ramsey County residents age 18 and older.

Description

Short-term treatment designed to help individuals with acute psychiatric symptoms who would otherwise require hospitalization. The program is suited for those individuals whose psychiatric problems require less than 24 hours treatment and are able to stay in the their own homes overnight. The program offers psychiatric treatment, medication management, and therapy through an individual treatment plan. Treatment components include group and individual psychotherapy, skills building, and health education designed to increase coping skills. Groups meet Monday - Friday for 6 hours per day.
