Metro Area ElderCare Development Partnership - Trellis

Current special projects include working in diverse communities to develop healthy aging forums and a senior housing forum to address local concerns about maintaining affordable housing for older adults. ElderCare Development Partnership (EDP) provides supportive services to community partners throughout the metro area to better serve older adults and caregivers. EDP developers provide technical assistance to community organizations applying for Minnesota Department of Human Services Live Well at Home grants and help to ensure that the organizations have the resources and knowledge to successfully implement the grant. EDP developers also support the mental health and older adult services roundtable, dementia friendly communities, LGBT health and aging, and local transportation workgroups.
