- Neighborhood Watch Program: Partnership between neighborhoods and police working together to make neighborhoods safe. Involves residents of neighborhoods working together by knowing each other, communicating with each other, and keeping an eye out for suspicious activity in the neighborhood. - Firearms Safety Training: A class is put on in the spring and fall of each year which includes 24 hours of classroom instruction on gun and hunting safety, a practical exam, and written exam each student must pass in order to receive his hunter certificate allowing them to hunt.
