Eligibility

Open to families who are low-income; families are selected based on the following criteria: - Need for adequate housing- Ability to pay (houses are sold at appraised value)- Willingness to partner (sweat equity requirement of 200 hours per adult family member)

Application/registration form copy of most recent pay stub or income payment copies of the latest W2s for all family members with income copy of latest federal income tax return (1040 only) copy of latest state income tax return (form M1 only) proof of household income Social Security card/number utility bills verification of SSI, County Assistance, Child Support or any other unearned income

Builds homes with the assistance of volunteers and partner families. Completed homes are sold to partner families through an affordable mortgage program, with total monthly housing costs including mortgage payments, real estate taxes, and homeowner's insurance, not exceeding 30% of the household's gross income.To qualify, partner families must have a household income between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for Goodhue County.
