Individuals in need of substance use services, meet income guidelines, do not have health insurance or are on Medical Assistance/Medicaid (MA), and are residents of Carver County

Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to a provider they choose to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. The county will assess individuals who need help paying for a substance use assessment or treatment services through the Behavioral Health Fund. Also provides:
  • Designated staff that provide chemical dependency assessments
  • Provides referrals to local community service providers for substance use assessments or treatment services
