Adult Mental Health Hospitalization - Allina Health - Owatonna Hospital

Provides assessment and evaluation of an individual's condition, stabilizes them as needed, and provides treatment. Time spent in the hospital is meant to be short, so a plan is developed for continued care outside of the hospital. The goal is to return the individual to positive mental health and well-being and prepare them for a successful transition to outpatient care and home. Inpatient care may include: - Educational programming - Family involvement - Individual and group psychotherapy (talking through problems) - Medication management - Treatment and crisis planning
