Help Me Bounce - Spare Key

Eligibility
Serves families with minor children, must meet the following criteria:
  • Experiencing a critical illness or serious injury: Accidents, Birth Defects, Cancer/Tumors, Chronic Condition, Premature, Sudden Illness
  • The family members medical care has resulted in a demonstrated significant reduction in income
  • The family members medical care has resulted in a demonstrated significant increase in expenses
  • Social worker must verify the medical crisis

Application process
  • Call; email; visit website
  • Applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis regardless of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status
  • Applications must be complete when submitted or they will be denied
  • Applications are reviewed upon successful final submission
  • Families will be notified of the status of their application by phone and/or writing within 72 hours of successful submission of their application

Offers an online platform that provides financial assistance grants to families facing a medical crisis. The "Bounce and Not Break" connects families with a network of donors and supporters. Funds are paid directly to the service providers or lenders for each funding goal that is met. NOTE: Completion of the application does not guarantee payment or approval. Guidelines are subject to change, and financial support is subject to the availability of funds secured through the Help Me Bounce Program.
