Homeless Shelter and Services - Dorothy Day Hospitality House - Rochester

Temporary homeless shelter can accommodate up to 20 individuals who can stay up to 21 consecutive days and nights, then may not return for 60 days (though they may still be present during visiting hours). Couples do not share a room. In addition to shelter, the following services are offered: - 6 pm meal served. Cup of coffee and grab-and-go breakfast provided to guests when they leave for the day - Has some used coats, winter accessories, new socks and underwear. Can direct guests to other resources to help meet their needs - Laundry facilities - Toiletries and other personal items.

Walk in to check in 4 pm - 10 pm. Beds available on a first come, first served basis.

Required documents

Photo ID. If an individual is accessing the shelter for the first time and does not have a photo ID, they will be accepted into the shelter and directed as to where to get a photo ID to be used for future visits.
