By providing assistance with daily living skills, staff help individuals live independently and connect with their community. Coaches assist with: - Arranging or providing transportation - Choosing personal attendants and housemates - Coordinating and supporting community involvement, like recreation and socialization - Grocery shopping, meal planning, and food preparation - Guidance and support in goal-setting and self-advocacy - Light housekeeping or paperwork - Money management, budgeting, paying bills, and banking - Registered Nurse (RN) case management or oversight - Scheduling and attending medical appointments - Selecting and moving into a home
