Individualized Home Supports (Supported Living) - AbleLight

Empowers people living with developmental disabilities to live independently in their own homes or apartments. Creates personalized support plans to help those supported achieve their goals. By providing assistance with daily living skills, staff help individuals live independently and connect with their community. Coaches assist with: - Arranging or providing transportation - Choosing personal attendants and housemates - Coordinating and supporting community involvement, like recreation and socialization - Grocery shopping, meal planning, and food preparation - Guidance and support in goal-setting and self-advocacy - Light housekeeping or paperwork - Money management, budgeting, paying bills, and banking - Registered Nurse (RN) case management or oversight - Scheduling and attending medical appointments - Selecting and moving into a home
