Description

Provides health services and education to improve the well-being of White Earth Nation band members. Services include: - Ambulance, EMT, and paramedic services - Child passenger safety seat program - Diabetes project providing education and nutrition information. Fitness centers are available for personal training, group training, and other health-related incentive programs. - Niin Gikenjige coalition to break social stigmas surrounding HIV and Hepatitis C by providing education, prevention programming, testing, and referrals to medical services where appropriate - S.O.S. program offers workshops and events about promoting a healthy and addiction-free lifestyle - SNAP nutrition education to make informed decisions on health and nutrition - Tobacco-free communities program educates on tobacco use and offers cessation support and resources
