Rapid Exit Singles - Catholic Charities Twin Cities - Minneapolis Opportunity Center

Rapid Exit is a partnership between Catholic Charities, Simpson Housing Services and Agate Housing and Services. Program goal is to find permanent housing for individuals and couples without children who have been homeless or currently living in Hennepin County funded shelters for less than one year. Services may include: - Furniture referrals - Help with rental application fees, portions of the security deposit or first month's rent if the County can't help - Referrals to community resources - Housing search assistance - Case management up to six months after client moves into an apartment

Application process

A referral is required through the Coordinated Entry process. This process is open to individuals who are staying in an emergency shelter or working with a street outreach team and sleeping outdoors (camp, car, transit, etc). Individuals currently staying with friends or family, or who are in treatment will not be able to access Coordinated Entry.

Fee

No fee to apply for Rapid Exit but ongoing monthly income is needed to secure housing.

Eligibility

Homeless adult individuals and couples without children who have been homeless or living in a Hennepin County funded shelter for less than one year. Must have income to be eligible.
