Program Fees

  • Sliding Scale/Reduced Fee
Provides basic in-home support services to Anoka County residents age 60 and older, helping them remain safe and independent in their homes. NOTE: Some areas may have waiting lists, depending on the availability of contractors and the type of service requested. Priority is given to low-income households. Services offered include the following: Minor Home Repairs
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Checking smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
  • Fixing/replacing faucets and light fixtures
  • Hanging mirrors or wall décor
Routine Housekeeping
  • Changing bed linens
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Cleaning kitchen
  • Dusting
  • Sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors
Seasonal Chores
  • Mowing
  • Raking
  • Snow removal
Services are completed by screened independent contractors and community volunteers.?
