Sliding Scale/Reduced Fee

Provides basic in-home support services to Anoka County residents age 60 and older, helping them remain safe and independent in their homes. NOTE: Some areas may have waiting lists, depending on the availability of contractors and the type of service requested. Priority is given to low-income households. Services offered include the following: Minor Home Repairs

Changing light bulbs

Checking smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

Fixing/replacing faucets and light fixtures

Hanging mirrors or wall décor

Routine Housekeeping

Changing bed linens

Cleaning bathrooms

Cleaning kitchen

Dusting

Sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors

Seasonal Chores

Mowing

Raking

Snow removal

Services are completed by screened independent contractors and community volunteers.?
