Service area

Anoka County, MN

Provides basic in-home support services to Anoka County residents age 60 and older, helping them remain safe and independent in their homes. NOTE: Some areas may have waiting lists, depending on the availability of contractors and the type of service requested. Priority is given to low-income households. Services offered include the following:

Minor Home Repairs

- Changing light bulbs

- Checking smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

- Fixing/replacing faucets and light fixtures

- Hanging mirrors or wall décor

Routine Housekeeping

- Changing bed linens

- Cleaning bathrooms

- Cleaning kitchen

- Dusting

- Sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors

Seasonal Chores

- Mowing

- Raking

- Snow removal

Services are completed by screened independent contractors and community volunteers.
