Mayor and City Council Member Contact Information Departments: Building Inspection

• Call to schedule building and electrical inspection

Election

• Ballot information, election information, serving as an election judge, voter registration, and voting absentee

Finance Department

• Coordination and planning of all city financial information including annual budget preparation, audit preparation, and payroll.

Planning/Zoning:

• Responsible for comprehensive planning, zoning code updates, and zoning and land development approvals

Public Services

• Airport: Le Sueur Municipal Airport 780 Elmwood Avenue, Le Sueur, MN 56058
• Electric: Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (MMPA)

Public Works:

• Provides park and street maintenance, street cleaning and repairs, snow removal, storm sewer, and traffic control signage

Utility Billing

• Energy/Heating Assistance; Utility payments

Water and Sewer

• Responsible for water treatment and distribution for the city. If residents experience a sewer backup, they should contact the Wastewater department and their plumber. Homeowners are responsible for lines from the main to the house.
• Provides water to residential, industrial and commercial sites. Continually tests and monitors water for quality.
