Food Shelf - Big Lake Community Food Shelf

- Provides a choice model food shelf, which allows people to select the food they want. A combination of fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, and other perishable and nonperishable items are provided. How much a client can take depends on their family size, and availability. Clients may visit the food shelf for full service once per month. - Pop-Up Pantry: Every Tuesday provides extra food for anyone in need. The client will be able to pick the food items they would like from what is available that day. This visit is extra and does not affect a regular monthly visit. - Freebie Fridays: Every Friday provides extra food for anyone in need. Drive-thru only where a volunteer will load up pre-packed food into the vehicle. This visit is extra and does not affect a regular monthly visit.
