Distributes a 5-day supply of food one time per month; may request a second visit to be approved. Stocked with non-perishable items that meet specific medical diet requirements.
In addition to food, this program can provide:
- Guidance regarding existing programs that address medical needs
- Advocacy throughout the application process for programs that address medical needs
- Nutrition education
- Food preparation instruction
- Referrals to other agencies that can provide support
