Chemical Dependency Services - Dakota County Social Services

Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to a provider they choose to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. The county will assess individuals who need help paying for a chemical use assessment or treatment services through the Behavioral Health Fund. Also provides: - 1:1 and family chemical dependency counseling - Case management and advocacy - Provides referrals to local community service providers for chemical assessments, treatment services in outpatient, inpatient, extended inpatient treatment, halfway house care, and chemical dependency education and prevention programs - Referrals to low-cost community services for client needs beyond the primary chemical problem
