Child and Teen Checkup - Southwest Health and Human Services

Exams are completed at the child or young adult's medical clinic and include: Complete head to toe physical exam Information about good physical and mental health Physical growth measurements Referrals to other health specialists if needed Time to ask questions and get answers about the child's health, behavior and development At certain ages, an exam will also include: Developmental and behavioral checks Hearing and vision screenings Immunizations Lead testing and other lab tests Oral health screenings and fluoride varnish application Checkups qualify for school physicals, sports physicals and Head Start required physicals.
