A place that helps individuals safely manage symptoms from intoxication or withdrawal for drugs and alcohol, while providing counseling and support services that treat the whole person, not just their substance use. The Detox Center is not a detention center, correctional facility, or law enforcement center. A secure 50-bed center, maximum stay is usually 72 hours. Provides: - Detoxification from alcohol or chemicals - Assessment and referral - Medical services - AA meetings
